The Multinational Company INGREDION developed a project focused on provider management, where the goal is to strengthen the relationship between client and provider, and ensure purchase of products under responsible requirements.
For this reason, the project was called "Aliados de Valor", this project was developed with a global assessment to the management system Calidad ISO 9001 considering the aspects of law established under laws 14001 and 18001.
This program was established on May 2014 with a series of audits whose goal was to obtain satisfactory results. For this reason and based on recommendations, actions were taken to certify the provider's reliability.
In compliance with the program, an investment project was developed in CFIP. This project sought to increase production capacity by purchasing an automatic spreader. This decision brought infrastructure changes and adjustments to the cutting area, where the result was an increase in the production of demonstrable units in favor of the effectiveness of Aliados de Valor.
Thus, in compliance of what has been previously said, on Friday September 11, the CFIP attended Aliados de Valor's awards ceremony, in which we participated as industrial supplies provider for INGREDION, who sponsored the event as we previously stated. CFIP was awarded two awards, Ally with greatest investment and growth, which highlights the parameterization of processes linked to the quality of the final product, and Ally of merit, which highlights the continuous effort to improve each of the processes on the production chain.
The Third Regional Award for Corporate Social Responsibility 2015 Comfenalco-Valle awarded best practices or projects with neighboring communities in Valle del Cauca.
We were awarded as a medium size company, the social responsibility award, which evaluated the impact we have on our influence zone. The aspects that determined the corporate efficiency were backed by the arduous work done in education with our almost 4000 students, the students being the main drive of the company. Self-sustainability generated by our different fronts of businesses was also highlighted since these businesses promote our industry and at the same time, provide jobs to more than 350 people. CFIP prides itself on the excellent work done over the years and the acquisition of these awards that encourage us to continue to serve our community.
